Since the cops never caught the suspect, what kind of cart he was driving is not known or actually what was under the seat so to speak. According to cops they think it was a car engine on the golf cart instead of the typical electric motor, but I would be making up excuses too.

According to the press release, the Morgan County Sheriff's department feel behind when the golf cart took to the fields. In the cornfields the golf cart was capable of jumping irrigation ditches where the police cars could not follow.

Sounds like fun, assuming this guy didn't do anything too serious.
